Say Cheese!

CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!

Curry Crisis

Mom made Curry the other night for dinner but it was TOO HOT!!!!

Here I am trying to scoop the taste out of my mouth, even though mom swears it is "not that hot."
Riiiight mom. uh huh. that's why I am breathing Indian fire here. thanks a lot.

Aukey joined me in solidarity. He's got my back

(Don't mind dad, he is just mocking us because he thinks as mom does, that "it isn't really that hot")

I'm sure I will have blisters on my tongue tomorrow. How traumatic. That settles it, I am NEVER eating dinner again.
so there.

My new best Friend...

Here I am with my new pal Lina at the Natural History Museum She likes holding hands and hugging as much as I do - maybe even more!
Walking hand-in-hand around all the exhibits

And a great big squeeze for my newest French-speaking Algerian friend.

Mystery Photos

Mom couldn't figure out what all these blurry, bright photos were... Couldn't recall photographing the doorknob
or the sun ...

or the textbooks on the table, but, oh... wait a second...

SURPRISE! It's me. The gifted photographer. I like to call this one, "Self-portrait"

Seeing Double

The Fam

At the Park in Virginia just before the England departure
At Church last Sunday. Happy Campers all, can you tell?

And now... a few of the AukeyMan

Dinner Time. Showing off our signature lip biting - Aukman biting the bottom, me biting the top.RICE CEREAL. Bring it on.

Daddy and Aukey.

Mouth always agape.

The Alfalfa hair sprout/cowlick that mom can't seem to keep combed down.
And sitting up by HIMSELF!!!

Going Euro

Boots over the pants. chunky layers. headband as necklace. extra hairbows...
Mom thinks all this extra flair I add to my wardrobe
could be indicative of an artistic temperment, but I can never remember my colors so who can say? A flamingo is blue, right? or was that the duck? I can never remember!
But man, if you ever need to accessorize, I am your gal.

Little bit o Bling

Cuff bracelet, check.
beads, headband and sparkle shoes - check.

Got my tele and I'm on my way.
Gotta love accesories.

Devout

All this scripture reading has me wiped out. For more on my FAVORITE book of all time, the Jesus Storybook Bible, visit http://www.sallylloyd-jones.com/welcome.html. mom is now buddies with the author so I may show up on her blog (http://sallylloyd-jones.logspot.com) soon too. Will keep you posted.

Getting to that age...

where I like to dress myself. Can you tell?
so far mom only let's me do it at home, but I'll work on her. This is what those in the industry like to call the "high-low" trend-- blending a high label like Lilly Pulitzer with my everyday low label (Hanes) sweatshirt from Target. Adding a touch of my own "blend" with mismatched seasons as well.
I think the sippycup is a key accessory for the Spring '09 collection.
I told my stylist to keep the look "tousled" for maximum effect. What do you think?

12 months

yep. that's right. my monster brother is wearing a 12 month size shirt here. I mean, the styles do get better the bigger you get but geez! Maybe the corner chemist was right that this could be a pram-eating baby after all!

Early Birthday

From Gigi. And a good thing since I was almost out of things to wear to church. The perfect match for my sparkle shoes.

And warm too!

Grown-up Pjs from Aunt Meeg

Love 'em.

Fiction for Baby Sue

Here I am reading to my new baby, "Sue" from one of the novels mom brought back from New York. Need to work on the hair-do but it was Mom's first day back in the game so we let a few things go...

Admirers

Here you can see my pal William is loving me from afar... Sadly, only mom got the chance to visit this time but I'm glad to know I hold a special place in WiWi's heart.
Mwah! to you WiWi. Miss you.
